Ben founded justONE in 2006.

Recognised as an authority on one-to-one marketing in New Zealand, it’s no surprise that his expertise has been highly valued by some of this country’s leading organisations.

In addition to being a regular judge of marketing awards, including the Marketing Association Awards (RSVP & Nexus) and Effies, he’s the recipient of numerous national and international awards – including Gold at Cannes, USDMA ECHO and Caples, and three RSVP Grand Prix and numerous Gold RSVPs as well as Nexus Gold.  Ben led justONE to be runner-up at the 2009 Agency of the Year Awards for ‘Best Direct & Interactive Agency’.

Ben’s involvement in the industry extends beyond chairmanship of MAC; he’s also a guest lecturer on direct marketing at Auckland University and AUT, and a sought-after contributor to local and international marketing publications.

Although one of the foremost thinkers in the digital space, Angela has a compelling ability to take the most complex technical issue and translate it into an everyday context.

Boyd is a co-founder of Tango Communications, one of New Zealand’s leading relationship marketing agencies.

Prior to forming Tango, Boyd worked with Datamail, Brave New World and Singleton Ogilvy and Mather on a wide range of corporate clients and brands on direct and interactive communication projects.

In early 2002, Boyd recognised that many companies were struggling to come to terms with the opportunities offered by digital marketing. Drawing on his experience in the Direct Marketing industry, Boyd set up Tango as a strategic digital agency that would assist marketers to realise the potential of digital channels to create relationships – and sell.

Boyd has developed breakthrough interactive and relationship strategies for clients including Watties, Holden, TVNZ, Holden and Treasures. Boyd is a former chairman of the DMA eMarketing Council, a DMA board member, has judged the RSVP Awards and currently sits on the MA Agency council executive.

Jane Eagles is currently General Manager of AIM Proximity’s Auckland office, having spent more than a decade honing her direct and relationship marketing skills within integrated and stand alone agencies. Passionate about the power of authentic insight and compelling creativity to engage consumers. Jane see’s the role of direct agencies as more important than ever in an age where genuine consumer dialogue is visible through social media and online commentary. Harnessing these new forms of insight in combination with smarter and more responsible use of customer data will make the difference for brands looking to create unique interactions and long term relationships with their customers. Simon Wedde

Simon joined DDB New Zealand in November 2007.

Simon began his career in Australia as a management consultant before joining Killey Withy Punshon in South Australia in 1996 as Planning Director. In 2001 Simon returned to New Zealand and joined Colenso BBDO as GAD working on Frucor, Visa International, Mars and SkyCity.

In 2005 Simon left BBDO to set-up his own agency, which he helped build into a successful business before selling back to his partners.

Simon has a wide range of experience as a management consultant, a planner and senior account administrator.
